Morocco ranks 7th in Middle East & North Africa, 84th globally in new 2023 Global Peace Index

Morocco has ranked 84th globally and 7th in MENA in the Global Peace Index for 2023, issued by the Institute for Economics and Peace.

The index evaluates the degree of societal safety and security, the scope of ongoing domestic and international conflict, and the amount of militarization to rank 163 states and territories based on their level of peace.
